I Want To Help What Is clan.me?
What is clan.me?
clan.me creates an exciting online presence for Minecraft servers - to help new players find it, engage in a new way with it (both in-game and outside of the game) and then keep updated about it forever.
For Players
1. Finding Servers
Browse through Minecraft servers visually - check out what is going on and how busy the server is before joining in-game.
Traditional server list websites show basic information and struggle to convey the personality of the server.
2. Engaging In A New Way
Using clan.me as a companion to Minecraft, you not only have an interactive live map but also player livestreams and an activity feed showing what is happening on the server.
Some servers offer live maps but rarely do they have this level of information and interactivity with other players.
3. Keeping Track of Servers
Keep up to date with the servers you follow in your activity feed - view a stream of them and quickly get an idea of not only what is going on but who is doing it.
Currently the best solution for this is Discord, but it is not designed for this task and clan.me is. Discord can get annoying quickly with its notifications system when following lots of servers.
For Server Owners
1. Finding New Players
Add and connect your Minecraft server to clan.me to gain instant access to a player base looking for their next community to join. Potential players can check your server out and learn a lot about it without having to join.
Traditional server list websites require people to be searching for a new server, clan.me does this but also presents yours to its userbase while they are browsing their activity feed.
2. Keeping Players Engaged
Improve community engagement by allowing them to comunicate with each other in new visual ways using built in streaming tools and more traditional status and forum posts.
Discord can be a great way to do this already BUT the hundreds of notifications make it a nightmare for those who want to follow multiple servers - not to mention the setup and constant maintenance required by the owner.
3. Keeping Players Coming Back
The constant automatic creation of content (using the clan.me server plugin) keeps your fanbase up to date with what is going on and helps pull them back onto your server. A live video stream also exists that can be pointed to Twitch/YouTube based on your server activity feed for further promotion.
Very little exists in this form already.

I am looking for testers - ideally server owners but also players too!
